22nd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival
Postponed earlier this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 22nd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival has announced that it will take place online.
From May 19 to 28, this online edition will screen documentaries representing visual journeys from across the world. Of them, there will be 77 recent Greek productions that examine themes such as human relationships, human rights, politics, music, history, environment, and life. The films are free to stream and capacity is limited to 400 (solely for Greek users. The juries will watch the films online and hand out the awards.
Thessaloniki Documentary Festival hopes to do physical screenings when the situation allows, in accordance with the Ministry of Culture and Sports and medical authorities
